# Code of Conduct

This project follows the [Contributor Covenant, version 2.1](https://www.contributor-covenant.org/version/2/1/code_of_conduct/).

## Our pledge

We want Open Transfer to be a welcoming community for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, caste, colour, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

## Expected behaviour

- Be kind, patient and respectful — assume good intent.
- Give and accept constructive feedback gracefully; critique ideas, not people.
- Focus on what's best for users and the community.
- Take responsibility for mistakes and learn from them.

## Unacceptable behaviour

- Harassment, insults, or derogatory comments of any kind.
- Sexualised language or imagery, or unwelcome advances.
- Trolling, deliberate disruption, or personal/political attacks.
- Publishing others' private information without explicit permission.

## Scope and enforcement

This applies in all project spaces (issues, pull requests, discussions, chat) and when representing the project elsewhere.

Report problems privately to the maintainers through a [GitHub Security Advisory](https://github.com/itsonu/open-transfer/security/advisories/new) marked "Code of Conduct", or by contacting a maintainer directly. All reports are reviewed promptly and confidentially. Maintainers may remove comments, commits or contributions, and warn, temporarily ban or permanently ban contributors, following the [Contributor Covenant enforcement guidelines](https://www.contributor-covenant.org/version/2/1/code_of_conduct/#enforcement-guidelines).
